What is Asset Risk Analysis (ARA)?
The Asset Risk Analysis (ARA) capability in the UNDERSTAND module helps you analyze how critical events impact your organization's specific assets β such as locations, routes, areas and more.
Unlike general event monitoring, ARA focuses on what happened to your interests and enables you to explore historical patterns, exposure levels, and risk trends across your footprint.
Use ARA to:
Evaluate the severity and frequency of events affecting specific assets
Identify which locations, routes, or teams are most exposed
Explore trends, sources, and timelines that inform future planning
ARA includes six widgets, each offering a different analytical lens:
1. Interest Risk Profile
Displays all your interests β points and routes β with their event count. This widget gives you an immediate overview of where your exposure is concentrated geographically.
2. Event Feed
A live list of verified events connected to your assets. It includes key details like severity, location, category, and source, helping you understand the context of each incident.
3. Time Wise Distribution
Shows how event volumes have shifted over a selected time period, broken down by severity. This helps you detect spikes in activity and changes in risk intensity.
4. Event Trend
Visualizes trends in event frequency over time, allowing you to compare recent data with historical patterns to identify emerging threats or seasonal variations.
5. Reports
Provides access to in-depth intelligence reports from Creolytix and external providers. These reports offer analytical context and expert assessments related to your assets.
6. Country Assessment Reports
AI-generated country-level summaries that combine severity, trends, and key risk categories, offering a broader picture of the environment around your assets.
ARA turns raw event data into structured insight at the asset level, empowering your team to act on patterns instead of reacting to isolated events. It supports both day-to-day risk management and long-term strategic planning.
In the next article, weβll explore how Asset Risk Management (ARM) lets you compare risks geographically to anticipate future impact.
